The redone riser section. It's really strong, and has 2 levels. The couch will go on the higher portion, while the first level will have the equipment rack. |
Ok, not HT, but I broke my cordless drill putting the riser together. Here's my new DeWalt. It kicks ass! |

The back room where all the connections end up. Looking at the back of where the equipment will go. |
Projector hook-ups on the ceiling. |
The completed riser. I've got some temporary speakers set up to watch/listen while I work in the theater. |
The equipment rack at the back of the theater. The only item that is staying is the HDTV cable box in the middle. The other stuff is just for testing. |
The final resting spot of the projector. It will be coming down again, due to sanding and painting and general yuckiness in the room. |

A close-up of the mount I made. None of it will be visible due to the suspended ceiling. I used a 10" piece of 3/4" pipe, an endcap and a flange. That was screwed to 1/2" OSB, which was fixed to the projector. Saved about $200! |

The screen wall drywalled. One down, three more walls to go. I hate drywalling. |

Another shot of the drywall, from the entrance. Did I mention I hate drywalling? |
The door I installed. This is the entrance. |
